Terms of use

These terms cover using OneRun. Plain language on purpose — if something here is unclear, ask before you rely on it.

What OneRun does

OneRun is the sheet everyone writes their order on, and the thing that collects the money. One person — the organizer — buys from the vendor and hands the food over. Everyone pays for their own order plus a share of one delivery.

We are not the restaurant and we are not a courier. We do not cook, buy, carry or hand over your food.

Who is responsible for what

The organizer

Buying the items, collecting them from the vendor, and handing you yours. If your food is wrong, missing or late, the organizer is the person who can do something about it.

You

Ordering only from runs shared by someone you actually know, giving a number that reaches you, and collecting your order. You confirm both of these at checkout, as two separate acknowledgements, because they mean two different things.

Us

Taking the payment correctly, showing you the right price before you pay, keeping the accounting straight, and paying the organizer what they are owed. If we take the wrong amount, that is ours to fix.

Money

Refunds

If a run is cancelled before the vendor is paid, you are refunded in full. If food was bought but something went wrong with your part of it, raise it with the organizer first — they know what happened. If that does not resolve it, report the order to us and we will look at it, including the organizer’s record of previous runs.

We can refund a payment we took. We cannot conjure back food that was collected by somebody else.

Pay later

Where an organizer offers it and you qualify, you can order now and settle afterwards. The amount, any charge and the due date are shown before you agree. Not paying on time blocks pay later across the whole platform, not just that organizer’s runs, and may add a late fee which is disclosed up front.

If you organize runs

Repeatedly failing to fulfil runs suspends your ability to publish, pending review. Payouts for new organizers are held briefly and reviewed by a person before money moves.

Things you must not do

Availability

We try to keep OneRun working and we do not promise it always will. If it is down when a run would have closed, that run does not open and nobody is charged.

Limits of our responsibility

We are responsible for the payment we take and for the accuracy of the amounts we show you. We are not responsible for the quality, safety or timeliness of the food, which is between the vendor, the organizer and you.

None of this removes rights you have under Ghanaian consumer law. Where these terms and that law disagree, the law wins.

Ending it

Stop using OneRun whenever you like, and ask us to close your account. We may suspend an account for fraud, repeated non-fulfilment or abuse of other users, and we will say why.

Changes

When these terms change, the date at the top changes and the acknowledgements at checkout are re-versioned. What you agreed to when you placed an order stays what applies to that order.
